It’s 2018!

November and December seem like a distant memory of fairs, cake stalls, tea parties, an Alice in Wonderland Tea Party, cupcake orders and birthday parties.

2018 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for us.  In January we’ve delivered several batches of vintage china for birthday parties and a large family gathering.  We’ve supplied a few buffets for business meetings and AGM’s.  We had a very enjoyable day at Canterbury Cricket Club for our first wedding fair of the year.  We provided waiting staff for an Awards ceremony at The Miramar in Herne Bay, serving drinks and canapes.  120 guests enjoyed this event.  It was great to see the staff being recognised for their achievements.

Herons Angling Club was the venue for a large Afternoon Tea/funeral wake this week for 60 guests from England, Ireland, America, Canada and beyond.  The venue is a true hidden gem for Herne Bay.  Sandwiches and nibbles along with Kent Apple Crumble and Cherry Bakewell cakes, chocolate brownies and shortcake biscuits.

This weekend we’re off to visit a couple of wedding venues in Capel-Le-Ferne and Elham to measure up for bunting and the check out the facilities. Might even stop off for a nice cup of tea on the way….
