The whole process from beginning to end was smooth and very professional. Debbie ensured we had the package that was right for us and gave us all the different options. We were not pressured to upgrade or spend more than we had budgeted for. The food was delicious and it was the best treat for our friend who deserved something special. Presentation was lovely and I am really glad we chose the option with the set up and china and no washing up! Debbie was amazing! She provided a delicious feast for the eyes buffet with tropical-themed trimmings for my 60th birthday party for 37 people. We had a wonderful array of party food. Debbie and her assistant were a great help on the day with setting up, making sure everyone had a welcome drink on arrival, topping up the buffet, cutting up the birthday cake and handing it out to guests. And everything was cleared and washed up too! Leftovers were put in the fridge to be enjoyed later. I can highly recommend Butterfly Garden for parties and events.
Hired Debbie and her team for mums celebration of life, I honestly could not recommend them enough.. Debbie kept me updated all throughout the process, with a range of beautiful packages to choose from.. the food provided was absolutely stunning and in our guests words “banging”.. it was a beautiful set up and more than we could of asked for.. thank you again, mum would of absolutely loved it ❤️

Debbie was incredible start to finish, she must have thought I was an irritating bridezilla from the amount of emails and ideas I threw at her but everything was met with such professionalism and courtesy! Her crockery, cutlery and other items pulled our 1950s inspired wedding together and I couldn’t have achieved the final result without her. I cannot wait to use her again for tea parties.
From the first enquiry to Butterfly Garden Tea Parties right up to the farewell we received professional, personal and precise customer service. Organising a surprise Afternoon Tea is fun however tends to come with a few challenges. Debbie found solutions and offered the flexibility with regards dietary requirements e.g. vegatarian and vegan options as well as swapping a few items on the menu. The portions are as equally generous as they are delicious. The venue was close to the beach which was idyllic however not an ideal setting for delivery of many different bags and containers due to restrictions in parking and a few steep steps. However, Debbie carried out research and pre-planned the arrangements so the preparations for the Afternoon Tea started on time. The table had to be set up before the guests arrived so Debbie was working against the clock. It was a joy that the wonderful Hollie Firmin could join us as an additional surprise for the guests. Debbie's acting skills also need to be applauded because she took on the role of welcoming the guests into the property whilst Hollie was hiding in another room. The beautiful songs and delightful Afternoon Tea complimented each other superbly. Debbie and Brook (hopefully I have remembered the correct name) worked tirelessly to ensure our cups were refilled regularly and the washing up was completed. I would highly recommend Butterfly Garden Tea Parties. It is quite rare to receive such personal friendly customer care these days which is unfortunate however there are some businesses still available thankfully. Regrettably some guests were unable to attend which is not unusual and I was not sure if a couple of others would be able to join us. Therefore an observation and suggestion for future events is to have the option to buy or hire tupperware containers, food bags etc.. for any extra food. Debbie gave us sandwich trays which were a tremendous help and guests did take food with them which was a treat for their families. I think this option very much depends on the setting i.e. if it is in a customer's home that would be different however if in a hall or a hired property the topic of storage needs a different approach. Debbie offered to leave plates that could be collected at a later date however this was not practical in these circumstances. Another observations is that it may help if the preserves (jam) on the table are in a jar i.e. with a lid. The presentation of the bowl suited the setting marvellously however if there was a glass container with a lid, guests could have taken the jam with them. These are not negative comments but highlights the incredible generous portions and is a note to myself and for future customers that provision needs to be made to pack up food at the end of the event. My husband liaised with Debbie and organised a surprise family tea party for 12 for my 80th birthday at my daughter and son-in-law’s house. It was a HUGE success - the table was set up beforehand with everything provided - it looked really beautiful. There was even a box of assorted teas to go with the urn and vintage teacups! There were all my favourite sandwich fillings, scones (savoury and sweet, with jams and cream), birthday cake, brownies and meringues and more….. too much to mention!. Oh, and there was plenty for everyone - with some leftovers for packed lunches today! Thank you so much Debbie, I’ll be recommending you to everyone!
Debbie provided served afternoon tea for our wedding and it was just perfect. She provided us with table linen for our tables which was a massive help. From the minute we met her we just knew we would be in safe hands. Everybody commented on how lovely the food was and no one was left hungry! Debbie and her team were just fabulous.
My husband planned our small wedding with such thoughtful care, and since afternoon tea is my absolute favourite meal, he did his research to find the perfect caterer. What a treasure he discovered in Butterfly Garden Tea Parties! From our very first meeting, Debbie made an excellent impression. She was kind, knowledgeable, and worked closely with us to create a menu that exceeded our expectations. Debbie even brought a selection box filled with beautifully presented scones and cakes for us to sample - they were absolutely delicious and gave us complete confidence in her abilities. She accommodated our specific dietary requirements perfectly, and her attention to detail was truly exceptional. On our wedding day, we had to inform Debbie last-minute that we'd be returning an hour earlier than planned. Without missing a beat, she and her team ensured everything was ready when we arrived. When I first saw the setup, it absolutely took my breath away. The food was outstanding, and all the thoughtful little extras that Debbie added were deeply appreciated. Every detail showed how much care she puts into her work. I will definitely be using Debbie's services again, and I highly recommend you do the same. You'll be so glad you did!
Butterfly Garden Tea Parties catered for a family members funeral tea and I can not rate this wonderful company high enough! The food was amazing and plentiful and beautifully presented. Excellent value and highly recommend this wonderful company.

Delicious afternoon tea. Nothing was too much trouble and they catered for wheat intolerant, cheese allergy, vegetarian, all on our particular table. Also had different milks, assorted teas etc Very friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend.

Debbie made a Gluten free cake for a 50th wedding anniversary I attended recently and all I can say is WOW!! It tasted amazing, it had a beautiful texture and taste and looked delightful! Highly recommend
We hired some of Debbie’s beautiful Vintage Crockery for a Tea-Party, Debbie delivered the wares sparklingly clean and beautifully packed ready for transportation. We had more than enough of everything and the little touches of cutlery wrapped in napkins with a satin bow, really added that special touch! Thank you Debbie!!
We arranged for Butterfly Garden Tea parties to organise a buffet for an unknown amount of guest for an event held at the Archbishop’s school. Communication was excellent, the food was outstanding- fresh, great quality and beautifully presented. Catered for a wide range of dietary requirements and food preferences well labelled. Would 10/10 recommend for future events/parties.

I cannot recommend Butterfly Garden Tea Parties highly enough. We asked Debbie and her excellent team to provide a memorial tea for our mum/ mum in law, following her funeral. Debbie's communication with us was brilliant. Even over the busy Christmas period. Totally professional at all times during the tea, and respectful of the occasion. The sandwiches, nibbles and cakes were amazing. One of the guests commenting that the sandwiches were the best she had ever had at a wake. Butterfly Garden Tea Parties supplied a fabulous vintage tea at the Age uk event in Herne bay, for over 40 people. The food was amazing and cakes superb. Everyone commented how lovely it was. The team put out the food and set the tables, then at the end, arrived to take it all away, it was effortless. Debbie was a pleasure to deal with, whilst making the arrangements and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for making the day special for so many people.

My daughter arranged a surprise indoor tea party for my birthday last month. I had just taken the keys to a new flat, so as the place was still empty they set it all up in the lounge. The table was groaning with delights. Trays of sandwiches and pastries, scones, jam and cream, all offset with delicate China cups, saucers, plates, teapots and accoutrements. The food was plentiful and delicious and we ate till our bellies almost popped, with enough left over to last a few days. It was the best way to celebrate my birthday and a delightful surprise.

Debbie Jones helped me organise my mums 60th surprise afternoon tea birthday party. It was so special with the mix match of China tea sets my mum was overwhelmed with how pretty it was all laid out. I had a couple of guests with dietary requirements and Debbie was happy to offer a full range of goodies for them too. I would highly recommend her service for those who love a beautiful tea service.

Butterfly Garden Tea Parties came and catered for my friends bridal shower. They made the tables look so pretty with all of their vintage china and decorations. They had a lovely selection of food, also accommodating those who had dietary requirements and it all tasted amazing. Debbie and her colleague were really kind and helpful and made everything run smoothly.

Debbie recently provided the catering for my Mum's surprise party, from the bunting and tablecloths to the most delicious afternoon tea. The presentation was absolutely beautiful, with food to match. Debbie was professional, attentive and warm. I was reasured from the very beginning and felt really listened to as a customer. Debbie catered for all guests with additional dietary requirements, and worked so hard all afternoon setting up, ensuring drinks were topped up throughout and leaving me worry free! I would really recommend Debbie for any catering event!

Debbie has been a good friend for many years and I have tasted a wide variety of the food she provides, but for the first time I booked her to provide a buffet for our 40th wedding anniversary party. From the start, she contacted me regularly to discuss options and make suggestions, but I felt the final decision was ours. On the day, she displayed the food beautifully, restocking the vintage plates discreetly around our guests. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared and delicious and the red velvet anniversary cake was amazing to look at and had a wonderful flavour. I don't know why I waited so long to hire her, but I will definitely do so again soon. Thank you Debbie (and Tim)

I would like to say a huge thank you to Debbie. She catered for my Mum’s wake last week and made a very sad day less stressful. Debbie set everything up whilst we were attending the service and we arrived home to an amazing array of delicious food. Everything looked very appetising and was so fresh. The different cakes were amazing and gained many compliments. We had one guest who was vegan and Debbie kindly created an individual serving for him. Debbie also stayed to serve the drinks which enabled me to spend time reminiscing with family and friends. I will definitely use Butterfly Garden again for any other events which require catering and highly recommend them.
