Yesterday we had the pleasure of providing a lunch time buffet with tea & coffee service to some visiting staff from The London Museum. We received an email today from the museum’s PMO Administrator Jess “It was lovely to finally meet you yesterday. I wanted to say thank you again for the delightful catered lunch yesterday. It went down so well with the team!” Whilst there we viewed the current photography exhibition and this huge Hot Spot globe by Mona Hatoum.

On Wednesday we had a tour around SEC Coach Works in Faversham, with ladies from Canterbury Women in Business Networking group. Leigh-Anne showed us buses that they are currently working on for existing clients along with some new VIP clients. This includes reupholstering and refitting the interiors and painting or applying biodegradable wraps to the exteriors. They are also in the process of converting an old diesel bus to electric - the first in the UK. Place your milk in the cup before adding tea, to protect the delicate china. Eat savoury sandwiches and treats first before diving into the scones and cakes. Afternoon tea was traditionally served at 4pm, we tend to have it around 2pm nowadays with High Tea served at 5pm. In the 18th century ales and gins were slowly replaced by tea and it soon became the most popular choice. Scones were a later addition around the 1900’s. Cornwall style is jam first.
