Kent Chrome & Cruisers

We had a fantastic day at Kent Chrome & Cruisers show on 28th August. Glorious sunshine and lots of very friendly visitors who obviously love cake. We sold out of drinks by 1pm and most of the cakes were gone by 4pm. Favourite cake of the day was Coconut & Lime.

The sun was shining once again for the Coastal Fun Day at Herne Bay Junior School on 2nd September was well attended and it was lovely to see so many friends there, as it was in my home town. Lots of money was raised for local charities. Favourite cake of the day was Peanut Butter Cupcake

There’s still time to enter our FB competition to win a cake. All you need to do is like our page, share and leave a comment nominating someone who you think would love to have a cake delivered to them and why i.e. my Mum because it’s her birthday etc. The winner will be picked on Saturday 9th Sept at 8pm.

A Mad Hatter’s Tea Party selection was delivered to Dawn in Dover on 1st September. Along with our vintage china were Alice in Wonderland inspired bunting, napkins, tablecloths, straws, eatme/drink me labels etc and mini milk bottles for soft drinks. Contact us for further details.

Pudding Night

Exciting news – Our next Pudding Night has been booked for 29th September at 7.15pm at  Westgate United Services Club, in Westgate on Sea. Nibbles, a light main course, then 5(!) deliciously indulgent puddings. Served with cream or custard. Followed by tea/coffee and mints. £23 per guest. Places are limited, so get booking. Drinks available at the bar.

Sticky Toffee Pudding won last time so be definitely be on the menu. Other puddings will be announced on the night. Spoon banging, clapping and cheering are encouraged. These are “man-sized” portions, so wear loose fitting trousers.
